There are fees for many of these activities. If you or your family aren’t able to afford the costs please speak to a member of the Young Carers team to see if they can help. We cannot guarantee to be able to offer financial support for these activities, but we can see if any support is available.

Polka Theatre
The Polka Theatre in Wimbledon runs a number of different classes and activities in schools holidays.
On January 3rd 2024, the Polka Theatre will be running a special free show for Young Carers aged 7 to 11. Email fran@polkatheatre.com for more information.
Free swimming for kids
Under-16s can swim for free at certain times at Merton leisure centres.
Merton Library events
Merton libraries are located across the borough. They run frequent events and activities for children and young people at different venues. Most of these activities are free.
Honeypot Children’s Charity
Honeypot Children’s Charity offer respite residentials to Young Carers aged 5 to 11yrs, if you are interested in accessing Honeypot please speak to a member of the Young Carers team as access to this is by referral only.
