WHAT?

We are running a three week Drama & Storytelling project, in partnership with our local friends, Attic Theatre!

Sessions will involve lots of fun, interactive drama games and activities, as well as the opportunity to work on original pieces of art (stories, drama pieces, poetry etc).

Sessions will take place on Zoom, with two members of staff present throughout (Rachael, the drama facilitator, and a member of the Young Carers team).

At the end of the project, participants will have made new friends, learnt new skills, gained in confidence, and created their own amazing, unique stories!! On the final session, family will be invited to attend a sharing of created work, so will be a real celebration of the group's individual and combined achievements!!

Two further 'catch up' sessions will take place towards the end of September, which will be a great chance for the group to come back together and share their experiences of returning to school!

WHEN?

The project will run over three weeks, with two 1.5hr sessions each week (on Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30am-12noon). Sessions are as follows:

Tuesday 28th July

Thursday 30th July

Tuesday 4th August

Thursday 6th August

Tuesday 11th August

Thursday 13th August

Two further sessions to take place after school in late September.
