Personal Independence Payments’ Workshop

Come along to our popular workshop run by Daniela Meloni—our senior Carers Needs Assessor here at Carers Support Merton

Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is additional money to help people with a disability or long-term health condition to cover the extra cost that disability causes.

PIP can be paid on top of Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) or other benefits.

Whether the person claiming PIP is working, has saving or is in receipt of other income does not affect his/her eligibility.

All those who are currently still in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) will have to apply for PIP and most people who are already in receipt of PIP will be regularly reviewed.

For those who want to know more about how to assist the person they care for to make a successful claim or review, this workshop is a must.

Cost: £5.00 for those registered with Carers Support Merton (The average market value of this workshop is approximately £50.00)
