CSM's range of interactive on-line workshops are specifically designed to support  you while you are caring.  Run by staff from our experienced and knowledgeable team we can help you navigate through your caring role by providing information, exploring skills and strategies, to promote discussion between Carers and to produce better outcomes for people in their caring role.

As a carer it is so important to look after yourself both in mind and body. Our New to Caring  programme includes information about how to look after your own wellbeing and how to access counselling and other therapies in the borough.  As a result, we are delighted to now be delivering this course in partnership with Merton Uplift.  This is a service run by South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust.

The sessions run over four week on a Tuesday 10:30am to 12.00 noon via zoom.

Session 1: Tuesday 8th September
Getting the right advice and information
Session 2 : Tuesday 15th September
Equipping you with the right tools
Session 3: Tuesday 22nd September
Having your say
Session 4: Tuesday 29th September
Lasting the distance
It would be beneficial to yourself if you can attend every workshop and would ask that you try to attend at least three of the classes. However if you do miss a session we can send you the presentation slides for that class.
Booking is essential, once booked you will receive further information on how to access the programme.
If you require any further information please do give us a call on 0208 646 7515 or email [email protected]

We would like to respectfully remind you that Carers Support Merton are a charity and in order to continue to run workshops, social activities, and classes for Merton's Carers we do rely on donations and grants.  If you are able to make a donation however small to help us continue to run our events it would be really appreciated.
