Celebrating 25 years of fantastic productions, London Children’s Ballet returns to the stage with an adaptation of a much loved classic.

Carers Support Merton have been lucky to have received a number of ticket for carers in Merton to enjoy this performance.  We will be travelling to the theatre by train and more information will be available nearer the date.

Ballet Shoes tells the story of Pauline, Petrova and Posy, three sisters adopted in the 1930s by an eccentric explorer, Great Uncle Matthew. He delivers them into the care of his niece and Nana, a warm-hearted, no-nonsense housekeeper, and then promptly disappears. When hard times come, the girls decide to do their bit to help. They seek their fortune by joining a stage school, with intentions of acting and dancing their way into the history books. This may be bliss for Pauline and Posy, but Petrova dreams only of tinkering with motor cars and flying in an aeroplane. As the little family grows up, each girl is pulled to follow her heart, learning valuable life lessons along the way.

Please book your FREE ticket below - Please note that although this event is FREE a minimum voluntary donation of £3.00 is requested to help support us to be able to offer further events and activities for carers in Merton.
