It can be hard to adjust to changes in life when your caring role ends. It could be that the person you care for has moved on to a residential or nursing home, or died. Taking care of your relative or friend may have been your focus and it can be a shock not to have those responsibilities any more.

Carers Support Merton is offering a 4 week  course to support our carers on their journey. The course will focus on life after caring issues and will provide carers with an important space for conversation and reflection.

The course will help carers to:

  • Identify clear and specific outcomes, raising awareness of what change looks like.
  • Explore available choices and identify appropriate actions.
  • Break through assumptions and self-limiting beliefs.
  • Take full ownership of desired outcomes, leading to positive results.

Week 1 :         Wednesday 4th March

Week 2 :         Wednesday 11th March

Week 3:          Wednesday 18th March

Week 4:          Wednesday 25th March

The course is FREE but we do ask for a donation of £1.50 to Carers Support Merton to help cover the costs of refreshments
