In 2019 Polka Theatre closed it's doors to the public and started a massive renovation project, which is due to finish later this year. Since then Polka have been working hard to continue to deliver community based projects.

In preparation for the reopening, Polka are delivering workshops to community groups which will include drama and art based activities.

We have been given the opportunity to participate in a young carers exclusive workshop, run over 2 weeks for approximately 1 hour each week. You will have the opportunity to meet other people, play games, have fun and  produce a piece of art work to represent you! Your art work will then be part of a collaborative display that brings community groups together and features pride of place in the all new Polka Theatre! In addition you will then be offered free tickets to the opening production.

* Please note, the sessions will have a drama focus and you will be required to produce the art work outside of the sessions.

Art resources needed for the workshop will be provided, all you have to do is turn up and have fun.

The details of the workshop are still in the planning stages, however if you are interested in taking part please book below to register your interest in order to be sent further details. We are currently planning for the sessions to be run via Zoom however if we have the opportunity to deliver it face to face we will!
